Sibling love is a weird thing. You know each other at a cellular level — the whole history, the embarrassing phases, the fights that became funny — and yet you sometimes forget to actually say the nice things.
A birthday or just-because webpage is a good excuse to say the things that usually go unsaid.
What to include for a sister
Start with something embarrassing you did together. It establishes the right tone immediately — she knows you're not being performatively sincere, you're just being you.
Then go genuine. Something she's done that you actually admire. How she handled a hard thing. What you've noticed about who she's become. The stuff you'd only say at 2am.
Finish with something forward — a shared plan, a place you want to go, something you're excited to do together.
Add the photos that only you two have
Not the formal ones. The ones from the trip where everything went wrong. The one where you're both mid-laugh at something that's now impossible to explain. Those photos.
